I was fascinated by the prospect of the seemingly impossible, selling non-prescription eyewear to wear at night. Moreover, a clear problem statement was here for me; soldiers’ eyes are getting damaged. Fixing this first was paramount. I pushed for manufacturing integration to have them shoulder impact testing and fit for the helmet to concentrate on optics and ballistic impact.
